The Society produces three types of publication:

Journal of Molluscan Studies
The Malacologist - the Bulletin
of the Society
Supplements to the Journal

Journal Of Molluscan Studies

The Society has maintained a continuous record of publishing important scientific papers on molluscs in the Proceedings of the Malacological Society of London which evolved with Volume 42 (1976) into the Journal of Molluscan Studies (ISSN 0260-1230). The Journal is the most widely cited of all malacological journals and publishes papers dealing with all aspects of the study of molluscs. Shorter Research Notes are welcomed. The Journal is published four times a year (February, May, August and November) and a volume consists of four parts.

Further details of the Journal can be found here.

The Malacologist - The Bulletin of the Malacological Society of London

The Malacologist (ISSN 1365-3725) publishes less formal (than those in the Journal) articles on molluscs; news, correspondence and opinion on malacological topics; reports of meetings; book notices and reviews; a diary of future malacological-related meetings; information on other Society publications; and Society notices.

It is published twice per year, in February and in August.

Until August 2005 this publication was known formally as the Bulletin of the Malacological Society. From issue 45 (August 2005) its header changed to The Malacologist.
